On Walmart marketplace, sellers also pay a Referral Fee on each product sold. The Referral Fee is calculated as a percentage of the gross sales proceeds from the sale of each product. The applicable Referral Fee is set based on the product type you choose during item setup. If an item has been set up in an incorrect category with a higher fee, but the product type aligns with a different Referral Fee, you will be charged the correct Referral Fee. Walmart’s referral fees average out around 10-15%.
